What's the aftercare for skin care services?
*ALL SKINCARE SERVICES*
~WE HIGHLY RECOMMEND NOT TO BE EXPOSED TO SUNLIGHT OR APPLY ANY FACIAL PRODUCTS within 2-6 hours after your treatment. Slight redness and swelling may appear with deeper treatment levels.
~Your fresh newly exposed skin will be delicate. It is important that you use a mild basic cleanser and keep the skin well moisturized, particularly around the eye area. You should use sun block daily (cream based & only for your face); a mineral sunblock (non-chemical) is less irritating to sensitive skin.
~Avoid the use of retin A, alpha or beta hydroxyl type products and all forms of scrubs for at least 48 hours or until initial sensitivity has subsided. Do not apply ordinary make-up base for at least 24 hours after treatment. Avoid swimming and tanning beds for at least one week.
Any time the skin barrier is broken, there is small risk of bacterial or viral infection.
What's the aftercare for Eyelash services?
~Wash around eye, DO NOT rub eyes with eyelash extensions on, DO NOT use oily products such as Vaseline or baby oil, carefully remove the makeup, especially the eye makeup. If you experience itching in the eye, use drops especially for dryness.
~for the first 48 hours avoid washing or splashing water on the eyelashes, especially with hot water, avoid going for a swim, a room that is vaporized or a sauna.
What's the aftercare for Permanent Makeup?
What you should NOT do:
-Do not use any cosmetics on the procedure area.
-KEEP your fingers and hair away from the pigmented area. (Germs may be transmitted to the newly treated and cause infection.)
-Do not drink excessive amounts of water before bedtime, which may cause additional swelling.
-Avoid eating salty foods.
-Do not peel protective scab that forms on area or perform activities that will cause excessive sweating, which may cause scab to leave a scar.
What you should expect:
Swelling: Your skin’s reaction will depend on how sensitive your skin is and on your health condition. A good indication of how your skin will react to permanent makeup is to compare it with what your skin normally looks like after you receive a shot, a bug bite, a hit or cut, or have a skin irritation. Water retention or salt intake on the day of or the day before the procedure also may affect how much swelling you have.
After an eyeliner procedure: Eyelid may be puffy or have a “roll” where the needle was used, similar to what you have after a good cry.
After an eyebrow procedure: You will feel very tight and have a heavy feeling or a slight headache.
After a lip procedure: Your lips will feel chapped, puffy, or swollen, and have a burning sensation. It will be extremely tender and sensitive.
Healing: It is normal for approximately 25%-50% of the pigment to slough off during the first 10-20 days of the healing process. Although the area will appear to be healed, it will not be fully healed for 4-6 weeks. Continue to use aftercare products until you are completely healed.
Advice/Cautions: Excessive Swelling: Although rare, excessive swelling or an allergic reaction may occur. If excessive swelling occurs, you should consult your doctor. If an allergic reaction cause difficulty in breathing and/or swallowing, call 911 or go to the emergency room immediately
